In 2019, our founders arrived in Sri Lanka with laptops, deadlines, and high hopes. What they found was a beautiful country with incredible hospitality, but a frustrating lack of reliable infrastructure for remote work.
Dropped video calls, unreliable WiFi, and workspaces that didn’t understand the needs of digital professionals were the norm. After months of trial and error, scouting locations, and building relationships with local businesses, they decided to create what they wished had existed.
Tech Traveler Lanka was born from the simple idea that remote workers shouldn’t have to choose between adventure and productivity. We partnered with the best accommodations, vetted every WiFi connection personally, and built a network of co-working spaces that meet international standards.
Today, we’ve helped over 500 digital nomads discover their perfect work-travel balance in Sri Lanka, and we’re just getting started.
